The Stealth Parking Post is unlocked by rotating the key (Supplied with 2 keys) and allowing the spring loaded lock barrel to move outwards. The post is then fully raised or lowered and relocked by pushing the lock barrel back in.
The main difference between randomly keyed and identical key parking posts is the level of security they offer.
Randomly keyed parking posts use a generic key that can be purchased from any hardware store. This means that anyone with the key can unlock and move the parking post, making it less secure than an individual key parking post.
Identical key parking posts use a unique key that is specifically assigned to that parking post. This means that only the person with the assigned key can unlock and move the parking post, making it more secure than a randomly keyed parking post.
